Allahabad High Court Summons District and State Officials Over Prayagraj Waterlogging Crisis

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday took suo motu cognizance of severe waterlogging in Prayagraj following reports of extensive inundation across multiple localities due to incessant rainfall. A Bench comprising Justice Ajit Kumar and Justice Garima Prashad initiated proceedings after noting that the flooding had impeded the movement of judicial officers, delayed court sittings, and disrupted access to the Photo Affidavit Centre of the High Court.
